Colectivo Terrón is a theatre company seated in Grenoble (Isère, France). They develop a work theme around raw material such as earth, sand or straw. For their newcomer named “bestiaire végétal”, the company decided to work around plants. They wanted a huge weaving piece they can play on stage with. It was not to be used as a piece of the theatre set but considered as a whole part of the play so that the actor to be at one with both material and shape.
I have had the pleasure to design and weave this huge dome shape basket for Colectivo Terrón.
